Where I Review: I review primarily on my YouTube channel, but I also review on Goodreads. Accepting a review copy is no guarantee that a book will be discussed on my channel, but I do review every book I finish on Goodreads. Physical copies received are always included in my monthly haul videos & are called out as having been received from a publisher. All review copies I received/review are noted by being placed on my “ARC” shelf on Goodreads.

Timing for Reviews: If I proactively solicit an advanced reader’s copy from publisher, I will do everything in my power to read that book prior to release date. If I am unable to read a solicited by the release date, I will read it during the month of release if at all possible. If a book is sent to me unsolicited, I make no guarantee that I will be able to read it in a timely fashion.

Ratings: I rate every book I finish on Goodreads. I rate non-review copies that I have DNFed if I make meaningful progress in it (e.g ~30%+) & will clearly indicate that I have DNFed it in the review, but I will finish any review copy before I rate it or I will not rate it at all. For half star ratings, I round up on Goodreads for all review copies (e.g a 3.5 star would be 4 stars on Goodreads & I would note in the written review that it was actually 3.5 stars). All opinions are my own & are an honest reflection of my subjective opinion. I do not accept direct compensation for a review (e.g. I do not accept sponsored reviews, but I may accept a sponsored haul or a sponsored video inspired by a book).

Publishers, Publicists, & Marketing Managers: My preferred method of communication is email, rather than DMs through social media. I welcome all inquiries, but please note that I do not do paid reviews. I am open to ARCs, hosting giveaways, and sponsored non-review content. I am happy to provide relevant data for my various platforms & my rates for sponsored content upon request.

Self-Published Works: I do not accept unsolicited review copies from self-published authors that I have not previously read from, as I have simply become overwhelmed by the volume of requests. This is an effort to manage my inbox (and sanity) without discriminating one request over another. I do not respond to requests for review that do not comply with this policy.
